There was previously a block of Latin text here in the website builder, and that was more interesting than what you're about to read. But I am an author and former journalist living in the Midwest with a lovely wife and child. I started writing to battle my insomnia over an oversized mortgage and a sick loved one, and from this struggle came several texts that were actually entertaining. So follow my journey in speculative fiction, and maybe we'll work our stuff out together.
But enough about me. I believe in the Stephen King adage "It is the tale, not he who tells it." I worked by that credo in journalism -- that in my mission I was a messenger, not a brand -- and I can't shake it even now in fiction.
